The 2012 Indian Premier League season, abbreviated as IPL 5 or the IPL 2012 or the DLF IPL 2012 (owing to title sponsorship reasons), is the fifth season of the Indian Premier League, initiated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) in 2007 with the first season played in 2008. The tournament began on 4 April and will end on 27 May 2012.9 Teams participated each consisting of a blend of performing players from other cricketing nation as well as performing Indian Cricketers.This edition of the IPL has been the most competitive with 14 matches producing results in the last over as the tournament progressed and it has two more matches left to decide the Champion.I had followed it since its inception supporting Kolkata Knight Riders that has its home ground in Eden Gardens Kolkata.It has never won the tournament till now but has grown since last year while I believe in respecting others taking the positives correcting and inducting in team I support.As the saying goes if you are not loosing you are not growing its an opportunity where your weakness surfaces and you can correct them them to perform better and win your next game.People were telling me since last 4 years why I support Kolkata Knight Riders that never wins I tell them like I support India before the world cup 2011 if it loose I loose too similarly Kolkata Knight Riders I have faith they are like my family members if they loose cheer them to perform better like I believed in Team India and cheered them in their good time and bad as well.This year Kolkata Knight riders (KKR) started their outing loosing 3 matches in a row corrected their weakness and won and kept winning it was cherishing to watch them perform better and better and like the saying goes nothing motivates a team then its own success.Well supporting KKR doesn't mean I don't watch other team's match I keep watching and cheer the better performer.T20 cricket match test your cricketing skills in shorter format be it batting bowling and fielding.Runs scored has to protected with effective bowling supported by fielding.Runs scored is as good as runs saved.There are other teams that started with win but then kept loosing and I scratched my head asking why is this happening? A winning Team should keep winning but then I remembered as in other competition the loosing team wakes up correcting themselves and performing better the winning team gets complacent and sleep on their win.Some say a win or defeat is an impostor or a cheater don't trust it.Defeat pulls your confidence while a win makes you over confident look forward despite your win to keep options open to be prepared to perform better in condition unfavorable.Building a better Team Spirit where the heart of each members beat together in the same rhythm so a change in a member doesn't effect the team performance.Looking ahead to successful finish by team KKR and members who took all trouble in live telecast that makes the tournament friend filled colorful keeping everybody cheerful.
